Finally got a Camaro checked properly and here's how it went

After weeks of scrolling through listings I finally settled on a 2017 Camaro RS that looked really well maintained and the owner seemed like a straight up guy. We met in Al Quoz, he let me drive it, everything felt fine to me but honestly my mechanical knowledge starts and ends with checking the oil. A friend kept telling me not to trust my gut on these things because Camaros here often get thrashed at track days or have hidden accident repairs. So I did some digging and booked a Chevrolet Camaro inspection before buying in Dubai with a mobile service that came out to the seller's location. The guy spent close to an hour going through it, hooked up a scanner, checked the underbody, paint thickness, the whole thing. Turns out the rear bumper had been repainted and there was a minor oil seep starting around the timing cover. Nothing catastrophic but enough for me to negotiate the price down and factor in future repairs. If I had skipped that step I would have paid full asking for a car with hidden history. Anyone else here get a Camaro inspected and find something the seller conveniently forgot to mention?
